Junior/Senior High Honor Choir
The YCMEA Honor choir is open to any students grades 6-12. Students are selected by their music teacher.
There is a $35 cost for participating in honor choir. This fee covers tour costs (buses, bowling, pizza) and their T Shirt as well as a small stiped for our guest conductors. This year's guest conductor is Dr. Deltrina Grimes; the choral director at Arizona Western College.
Rehearsals will take place Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 PM at Woodard Junior High School.Rehearsals will take place weekly, beginning the week we return from Winter Break and continuing until the concert on March 6th. There will be an all-day rehearsal on Friday, March 5th. Additionally, we have a tour tentatively scheduled for March 11th during the day.
Music teachers should plan to attend all events or have an adult reprentative in their place.
